Biography

I am currently a third-year internal medicine resident at the Yale–Waterbury Residency Program. Prior to residency, I completed a dedicated research fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Stavros Stavrakis at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Heart Rhythm Institute. My work focused on the intersection of the autonomic nervous system and cardiovascular disease, with particular emphasis on atrial fibrillation and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. I investigated the therapeutic potential of noninvasive neuromodulation techniques in both animal models and clinical settings, an experience that strengthened my foundation in translational cardiovascular research.

This background has fueled my passion for cardiology, particularly electrophysiology and neurocardiology, and solidified my commitment to advancing the study of the heart–brain axis as a novel therapeutic frontier. I am motivated to bridge mechanistic insights from bench research with innovative clinical applications that can improve patient outcomes.
