Jennifer Wendel

Jennifer Wendel is a Specimen Handling Coordinator in the Histology Lab in the Department of Pathology. Her responsibilities include maintaining the file system for Anatomic Pathology and retrieving diagnostic slides and blocks. Jennifer maintains Anatomic Pathology’s file system to ensure timely and accurate filing and retrieves diagnostic slides and blocks. She monitors all requests related to entry and check out of blocks and slides from our archives and clinical locations, then retrieve and refiles all returned material to original locations

Before joining Pathology, Jennifer worked as an animal technician at Yale Animal Resource Center (YARC). Her background is vast and varied. She worked at a Morgan horse farm in Connecticut before her position at YARC and has experience an an entrepreneur in the beauty industry.
