Dr. C. Chime Karkhang is an ANCC board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Yale University. Committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing healthcare through research and education. She is a distinguished professional in the field of transplant surgery. She is the current Vice Chair-Elect of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) Advanced Transplant Provider Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for the Yale School of Nursing Alumni Association.

In recognition of her contributions, she was an invited speaker at the 2025 ASTS Winter Symposium. She was honored with the 2025 ASTS Sherilyn Gordon Memorial Travel Award, 2022 ASTS Advanced Transplant Provider Research Grant and the 2023 Milton and Anne Sidney Prize, and she was a speaker at the 2023 Yale School of Nursing Scholars' Day. Dr. Karkhang’s research has significantly advanced health outcomes, and she currently works in the Transplant Surgery Department, specializing in care for patients post-liver and kidney transplantation.
