Biography

Dr. Caroline Figgie is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the section of Pediatric Endocrinology. She completed her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and stayed there to complete her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital but later returned home to Connecticut to further her training with a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Connecticut Children’s in Hartford. After fellowship, she joined the faculty at Yale School of Medicine and is happy to be back in her hometown providing care for the children of Fairfield County and the surrounding communities. Her interests include medical education, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and metabolic health. Outside of work, she loves to travel and enjoys craft projects and learning new hands-on creative skills.
