Avi Patel

Avi Patel is a Communications Intern with the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He showcases research breakthroughs, faculty leadership, and emerging innovations across the department’s 10 academic sections, elevating the stories behind Yale’s scientific impact. His work translates complex science into accessible, human-centered narratives that celebrate faculty achievement and amplify Yale’s contributions to advancing human health in local communities and around the world. Avi is a member of the Yale College Class of 2026 in Benjamin Franklin College. He is majoring in the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and is a Global Health Scholar.
