Biography

Amanda Cook, DNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC), who specializes in Head & Neck Surgery. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Adelphi University in New York. She went on to work as a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital in the Emergency Department. Amanda continued her education and obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Fairfield University in 2017. Currently, she works on the Head & Neck Surgical Oncology team where she takes care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient setting and works as a first assistant in the operating room. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well as the American Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
