Biography

Ahmed Farhan is a resident physician in the integrated interventional and diagnostic radiology program at the Yale School of Medicine. As a physician-scientist, he has published multiple research papers and book chapters, with a focus on the effectiveness and safety of novel treatment approaches for cancers, portal hypertension, and vascular malformations.

He is an alumnus of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania four-year accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program in biochemistry, where he graduated summa cum laude with a research thesis in novel pancreatic cancer immunotherapies.

His current clinical and research interests include interventional pain management, interventional oncology, and portal venous interventions.
