Alain Mina, MD, specializes in medical oncology and hematology, with a focus on leukemia as well as stem cell transplants and cell therapy. Dr. Mina is dedicated to diagnosing and treating blood-related cancers, offering patients a combination of chemotherapy and advanced cellular therapies to manage their conditions effectively.
As an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Mina conducts research of myeloid malignancies, such as myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemia. He focuses on discovering new therapies that can be tested in clinical trials.
Dr. Mina received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, followed by a residency at University of Kansas Medical Center. He completed fellowships in hematology and oncology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, and in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy at Stanford University Medical Center.
