Eleni Christofilea is accepted to the UCL-Yale Doctoral Training Programme in Developmental Neuroscience and Mental Health doctoral program starting September 2025.
Eleni Christofilea receives distinction for her thesis entitled “Neural Correlates of Externalizing Behaviour Severity: A Predictive Modelling Approach”. Congratulations Eleni!
Zhiyuan (Zack) Liu is accepted to the University of Oxford Department of Experimental Psychology doctoral program starting September 2025. Zack also receives the Clarendon Scholar Award distinction at the University of Oxford award.
Zhiyuan (Zack) Liu presents his project entitled “Transdiagnostic symptom domains are linked to impairments in cognitive emotion regulation in youth and exposure to childhood adversity in the ABCD Study” at the 2025 Association for Psychological Sciences (APS) convention in Washington, D.C.
Congratulations to our May 2025 graduates Zhiyuan (Zack) Liu (Yale School of Public Health MPH), Eleni Christofilea (UCL-Yale Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology Masters of Research program), Kavari Hercules (Yale School of Public Health MPH), and Goeun Lee (Yale University, Berkeley College).
Our summer interns present their projects and posters: Emily Drucker (Yale BioMed Amgen Scholar/ACS Scholars program; project in collaboration with the Dettmer Lab entitled “Adversity and Aggression Insights from Human and Non-Human Primates”), Paula Enriquez (Yale Research Experience for Veteran Undergraduates [REVU] Program; project entitled “Externalizing Symptom Severity is Associated with Emotion Regulation in Youth”), and Valentino Cheek (Yale Child Study Center Developmental Science Summer Internship; project entitled “Sex Differences in Structural Brain Correlates of Internalizing Symptoms in Youth”). Congratulations Emily, Paula, and Valentino!
