Biography

Dan completed his undergraduate degree in psychology from King’s College London where he undertook a placement year researching the prevalence of trauma and PTSD in a male prison, and graduated with a first class honors degree with the Dean's award for academic achievement. Dan went on to complete the MRes in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology across UCL, the Anna Freud Center and Yale, with Distinction and the Dean's award. For this thesis, he worked with Dr Sarah Fineberg investigating the computational basis of trust in Borderline Personality Disorder.

Now completing a PhD in Developmental Neuroscience at UCL, Anna Freud Center and Yale, Dan has been researching the impact of early life experiences on development and mental health. Whilst at the Child Study Center, Dan is interested in exploring the neural basis of parenting, supervised by Dr Helena Rutherford.
