To ensure sufficient time for our program to conduct a fair and equitable review of all applications received, applicants should not expect to receive interview invitations before mid-October. Consistent with Yale GME and AADPRT recommendations, the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program will be hosting an all-virtual recruitment process for the 2025-2026 recruitment cycle.
Thank you for your interest in our Solnit Integrated Training Program. You may apply to this Yale program through ERAS starting September 15, 2025.
To be considered for the Solnit Integrated Training Program, applicants must also apply to the general Yale Residency Training Program in Psychiatry. Both programs have separate match numbers in NRMP. If you have questions about the application process, please contact Karen Franchi, Program Administrator.
Interview Process

Your interviews with the Solnit Integrated Program and the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program will take place on two consecutive days virtually via Zoom. Interviews for the Integrated Program are scheduled separately by the integrated program administrator after you have been selected to interview by the residency program.
Interviewees meet with our program directors, interview with research and clinical faculty, and have a post interview zoom hangout with current residents. Efforts are made to match applicants with faculty interviewers who share their research or clinical interests.
As part of the day, presentations by faculty and trainees will highlight the many opportunities for research and clinical career development within the Solnit Integrated Training Program.
To ensure sufficient time for our program to conduct a fair and equitable review of all applications received, applicants should not expect to receive interview invitations before mid-October. Applicants receiving an interview offer can generally expect to have been contacted by December 23 (absent rare occasions when, due to cancellation, we may have an interview opening later in the season).
Our program is aware that the ERAS supplemental application process allows applicants to identify programs of particular interest using the “program signaling” function. We want to reassure applicants that our program does not intend to use this program signaling data to inform our decisions regarding interview invitations or the rank list process.
