Biography

Tricia is an early graduate from New York University, where she earned a B.A. in Biology with Honors in December 2023. Her undergraduate research thesis was focused on the role of platelet-released proteins on myeloid cell differentiation and was completed under the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Berger and Dr. Tessa Barrett at the NYU Langone Cardiovascular Research Center (LHCVRC). Tricia also worked at the National Institutes of Health as a short-term lab manager for Dr. Leah Rosin at the Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Tricia began her Ph.D. training at Yale University in August 2024 (TMMPP track) and joined the lab of Dr. Stephania Libreros in the Department of Pathology. As a close collaborator of Dr. Andres Hidalgo, her current research investigates how neutrophil heterogeneity drives functional responses in acute and chronic inflammation.
