Joseph Cavallo, MD, is an emergency radiologist who focuses on diagnosing and managing urgent injuries and illnesses. He uses advanced imaging techniques to pinpoint the causes of time-sensitive symptoms and collaborates closely with care teams to offer swift, accurate assessments.
As an assistant professor of radiology & biomedical imaging at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Cavallo explores how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, can enhance diagnostic accuracy and streamline patient care. He completed his medical training at Stony Brook School of Medicine, then pursued an internship, residency, and fellowship at Yale School of Medicine.
