Jay Moran, MD

Dr. Jay Moran received his MD from Yale School of Medicine and is currently an Orthopedic Surgery Resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Moran has published more than 100 original research articles on various orthopedic topics. He was among the top 5% of most-published and most-cited orthopedic surgeons in the U.S. for 2023 per Doximity. Dr. Moran has organized several multicenter clinical research studies and collaborations with surgeons from across the country. His work has been presented at national & international conferences and published in some of the most respected orthopedic journals in the world, including The American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM) and The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS). His current academic interests involve pediatric and adult sports medicine surgery.
