Biography
Research Scientist with over 18 years of combined pharmaceutical assay development and academic stem cell experience. Previous responsibilities included designing, validating and publishing in vitro prediction models in support of drug discovery. As Lab Manager within the hESC/iPSC Core Lab, acts as lead trainer for all graduate students, PhD candidates and Post Doctoral scientists in the maintenance, use and strategic implementation of stem cells. Additionally, the lab is at the forefront of deriving induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) lines and performing CRISPR Cas-9 gene editing services for researchers throughout Connecticut and beyond.
