Erin Brough, PMP, MBA

Erin Brough is the associate director of marketing and communications at Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She holds an MBA and is a Certified Project Management Professional. Erin leads the strategy, partnerships, and infrastructure that position YCEI as a leading voice in the field of emotional intelligence.

Since joining YCEI in 2018, Erin has built cross-functional processes, marketing systems, and collaborations that support the Center's growth. This includes launching custom digital tools and lead-generation systems, video series, book launches, events, and websites, and promoting the Center's award-winning Coursera course, “Managing Emotions in Times of Uncertainty and Stress.” She is instrumental in maintaining the relationships between YCEI and Yale Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine, and Yale University communications offices. Erin oversees all brand management and collateral development, including print, digital, video, and audio. She has worked closely with the Poorvu Center, the Yale Broadcasting Studio, and Yale Medicine Training and Development.

Erin is a member of Yale Child Study Center's FrameWorks Framing Hub, a cohort trained by the FrameWorks Institute to strengthen how the department communicates about child, adolescent, and family behavioral health. She has served on the board of the SEL Providers Association and represented the Center at various national and regional convenings.

As lead on YCEI's AI initiatives, Erin completed an AI Accelerator with Project Evident and is working with YCEI researchers on tools to streamline data interpretation and storytelling. This summer, she represented YCEI at the Rare Impact Fund's global Capacity Building convening alongside over 40 leading mental health organizations.

Erin lives in the New Haven area with her husband and teenage son. As a Buffalo, NY native, she doesn’t mind the snow and loves a good get-together with family, friends, delicious food, and lots of laughs.
