Biography

I graduated from the Medical University of Lodz in 2020, where I developed a deep interest in molecular biology and laboratory-based research. In 2020, I started my PhD program at the International Doctoral School of Medical University of Lodz. Funded by the National Science Centre in Poland, my PhD project focuses on DNA oxidative damage repair and its potential use in the prognosis and therapy of patients with multiple sclerosis. In 2021, I started my residency in neurology. I am currently a postgraduate fellow in the O'Connor Lab, where my research focuses on myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disease (MOGAD). During this fellowship, I have the opportunity to broaden my view of the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and acquire experience in advanced immunological techniques.
