Biography

Bahar Javdan is a dermatology resident and physician-scientist at Yale. She earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her medical and doctoral training through the dual-degree program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Princeton University. Her research focused on gut microbiome–derived drug metabolism and later expanded to the skin microbiome. Her academic interests include translational microbiome research and the molecular basis of inflammatory and neoplastic skin disease.
