Dr. Angela Kang graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine where she received her MD and MPH degrees. She completed her residency training at the Yale Internal Medicine Primary Care Program and stayed on as a Chief Resident. She then joined the teaching faculty of the Yale-Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2018. Her academic interests include residency competency and career coaching, point of care ultrasound, and the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension. She is also the co-founder of an NGO in the Dominican Republic that works to improve community health and build local capacity through a community health workers and chronic disease program. In her free time, she is a runner, reader, and podcast listener.
