Biography

Abdelaziz Amllay, MD, is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Neurosurgery at Yale University. He earned his medical degree from Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco, and subsequently completed two postdoctoral fellowships: one at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and another at The University of Toledo in Ohio.

Dr. Amllay moved to the United States to pursue advanced research in neurovascular diseases, particularly stroke. His work is at the forefront of cerebrovascular disease research, where he applies cutting-edge biotechnologies and endovascular techniques to develop innovative therapeutic and preventive strategies. His research aims to deepen our understanding of the complex mechanisms underlying cerebrovascular diseases and assess emerging treatment options. Dr. Amllay’s contributions focus on enhancing targeted endovascular interventions and strengthening stroke prevention strategies in order to generate actionable insights for evidence-based clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
