Biography

I am currently enrolled in internal medicine training at the Yale-Waterbury Residency Program. Prior to this, I completed a dedicated research fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Stavros Stavrakis at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Heart Rhythm Institute. My research focused on the intersection of the autonomic nervous system and cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on atrial fibrillation and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. I investigated the therapeutic potential of noninvasive neuromodulation techniques in both animal models and clinical settings.

This experience deepened my passion for cardiology—especially electrophysiology and neurocardiology—and solidified my commitment to exploring the heart-brain axis as a novel therapeutic frontier. I am driven to bridge mechanistic insights from translational research with innovative clinical applications that improve patient care.
