About

Biography

I am a Diagnostic Medical Physicist Associate with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics, supported by advanced academic training in medical imaging physics, radiation science, and healthcare technology. My education has provided a strong foundation in the principles of radiation production, image formation, dosimetry, and quality assurance, allowing me to apply scientific expertise to improve patient care and imaging performance.

As a healthcare professional, I work to ensure that medical imaging equipment operates safely, accurately, and at peak performance. My work focuses on two key goals: quality, by ensuring diagnostic images are clear, reliable, and optimized for accurate clinical interpretation, and safety, by minimizing unnecessary radiation exposure to patients, staff, and the public while maintaining diagnostic effectiveness.

Through comprehensive equipment evaluations, acceptance testing, annual quality control assessments, calibration, and performance optimization, I help ensure that imaging systems consistently meet regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and clinical expectations. By collaborating with radiologists, technologists, engineers, and healthcare administrators, I support the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality diagnostic imaging services that contribute to excellent patient outcomes.
