Yongsong Huang

Dr. Huang currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Advanced Institute of Convergence Knowledge (So-Go-Chi) Informatics, Tohoku University (since April 2025), while completing his doctoral dissertation in the IIC Lab under the joint supervision of Prof. Shinichiro OMACHI and Prof. Tomo MIYAZAKI (Ph.D. March 2025). Prior to his current appointment, he attained his B.Eng. and M.Eng. (supervised by Prof. Zetao JIANG) from the Guilin University of Electronic Technology in 2018 and 2021, respectively, and honored to be a JSPS Research Fellow (日本学術振興会特別研究員 DC2, Research Fellowship for Young Scientis). He is also a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School (working with Prof. Jinsong OUYANG) and (Prof. Xiaofeng LIU) and National Taiwan University (collaborating with Prof. Ai-Chun PANG). He has concentrated on computer vision and deep learning, with a particular inclination towards image processing, data science and pattern recognition.
