Biography
Doctor Tianyi Zeng majored in Biomedical Engineering and got PhD degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. After graduation, he joined the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, Yale School of Medicine. He has been conducting research in the field of nuclear medicine for more than 7 years and now he is doing research projects about novel PET motion correction and reconstruction methods applied on the NeuroEXPLORER, a next-generation ultra-high performance brain PET imager. His supervisors are Professor Richard E. Carson and John A. Onofrey. His research interests include Deep Learning Applications in PET, PET Reconstruction, PET Motion Correction and PET/MRI systems. His latest journal paper "Markerless head motion tracking and event-by-event correction in brain PET" was published in Physics Medicine and Biology.
