Biography

Tianyi Zeng is an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale PET Center and a junior faculty of the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. Following his graduation, he joined the Yale PET Center as a postdoctoral researcher. With over eight years of experience in nuclear medicine, Tianyi specializes in PET (Positron Emission Tomography) imaging.

His current research focuses on developing advanced motion correction and reconstruction methods for the NeuroEXPLORER, a cutting-edge ultra-high performance brain PET scanner. Tianyi's research interests include PET image reconstruction, image processing, and the application of deep learning techniques to PET imaging, particularly in enhancing motion correction and improving image quality.
