Biography

I am a cancer biologist passionate about understanding how tumors evolve, evade immune surveillance, and develop resistance to therapy. My work lies at the intersection of tumor metabolism, DNA damage response, and immuno-oncology. I currently work on elucidating the effects of metabolic deficiencies in cancer and exploring targeted therapeutic strategies that can reshape tumor–immune interactions. Using in vivo models, multicolor flow cytometry, and molecular profiling approaches, I investigate how metabolic vulnerabilities influence treatment response.
I completed my PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology, India, where I evaluated targeted nanotherapeutic strategies against breast cancer stem cells and established 3D tumor models. My research is driven by a commitment to translating mechanistic insights into meaningful therapeutic advances in cancer.
