Why I chose YPC: The interview day at YPC stood out among the rest. I felt that I was joining a supportive, close-knit community and had access to all of the resources of a world-renowned institution.

My favorite things about New Haven: There is so much to do and it has a wide variety of activities. My favorites are the hikes, beaches, bars, and ice cream spots.

Outside of the hospital you can find me: playing pickle ball at the parks, grabbing brunch after a night shift, or continuing my journey to find the best coffee shop in New Haven.

My advice for applicants: Go with your gut. Your rank list should be just that - yours! Residency is a time where you will continue to learn and grow as a physician, and only you know the best place for your own individual development.
