Shawn Hill

Shawn Hill, MBA, BSN, BA, RN, is an experienced healthcare administrator with degrees in business, nursing, and psychology. After serving five years as an MP in the United State Marine Corps, Shawn started his healthcare career as an Operating Room Nurse focusing on Orthopedic surgery. Additionally, Shawn worked as an Operating Room Service Coordinator, Charge Nurse, and OR Supervisor. After completing his MBA, Shawn joined Yale Medicine as the Clinical Director, Patient Access, working in the Yale Medicine CARE Center. Shawn has combined his passions for patient accuracy and continual process improvement and recently completed the Six Sigma Green Belt course through Villanova. During his time at the CARE Center, Shawn recommended and implemented various improvements, including establishing urgent lines for internal transfers to the CARE Center Nurse Advisors, streamlined the workflow for alerting Nurse Advisors of emergencies, and creating a process for remote training. In addition, Shawn enjoys indoor rock climbing, snowboarding, and traveling in his free time.
