Biography

Dr. Sarah Mulukutla is a board-certified neurologist and an Assistant Professor Adjunct at the Yale Child Study Center. She studied History of Science within the Mind, Brain & Behavior track at Harvard College before earning a Master of Public Health from Emory University. She received her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine, graduating with Distinction in Research and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Mulukutla completed her Neurology Residency at Yale University, where she received awards for excellence in stroke care and was recognized as an Emerging Resident Leader.

A defining part of Dr. Mulukutla’s path was her own early experience with chronic migraine, which inspired her commitment to a whole-person, integrative approach to neurological care. In 2017, she founded Mindful Neurology, PLLC a private practice dedicated to exploring the therapeutic potential of mind-body medicine for neurological conditions. In recent years, Dr. Mulukutla has been teaching meditation to people living with Parkinson’s disease. Her current work focuses on developing a standardized meditation curriculum for this population and investigating its neurobiological impact through ongoing research at Yale.
