I was born in Wilmington Delaware and matriculated to Wake Forest University where I received my Bachelor of Science. I attended Jefferson Medical College (Now Syndney Kimmel Medical College) and went on to the University of Maryland for my Otolaryngology Residency. I obtained a fellowship in Otology at Christiana Hopsital in Delaware under the tutelage of Dr. Micheal Teixido
