Biography
Norah is from Torrance, California, and graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. As an undergraduate, she conducted neuroscience research investigating differential neuronal vulnerability in spinocerebellar ataxia type 1 and related mechanisms of neurodegeneration. For her senior thesis, she investigated transcription factor overexpression as a potential strategy to reduce tau pathology in a transgenic mouse model. Currently, Norah studies individual differences in psychiatric and metabolic responses to stress, including projects examining semaglutide and stress-related hormones. Outside of work, Norah enjoys playing the cello, baking, and exploring local cafes.
