Nene Saysiri

Nene's remarkable healthcare journey unfolded over a distinguished 17-year tenure within the Yale New Haven Hospital Health system. Starting humbly as a dedicated technician, she steadily ascended the career ladder, ultimately achieving the position of Charge Nurse across various acute care units. Nene's influential presence extended beyond her daily duties, actively participating in the Behavioral Emergency Support Team and earning numerous accolades for her exceptional nursing contributions.

With a discerning eye for leadership, Nene extended her expertise to the administrative sphere of Yale New Haven Hospital, cultivating a culture of support, continuous education, and safety awareness among both staff and patients. Her trajectory then led her to Yale Health, where she served as an Acute Care Triage RN and a vital member of the Code team, providing indispensable care during the peak of the pandemic. There she cared for the Yale University population and their families.

Amidst these experiences, Nene seized the opportunity to pursue her Masters in Advanced Practice, specializing in Family Nurse Practice. Returning to Yale New Haven Hospital, to lead a new Medicine unit, she deepened her knowledge in healthcare, specializing in the compassionate care of End-of-Life patients, marking the beginning of her career as an Advanced Provider specializing in Pain Management.

Today, Nene stands as a trailblazer, as the first Advanced Practice Provider within the Department of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine. Her journey is a testament to her dedication, resilience, and unyielding commitment to advancing healthcare, enriching both patient care and the medical field as a whole.
