Biography
Dr Molly Wilner, DO, is an assistant professor within the Department of Neurology, Division of Multiple Sclerosis. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Biology, and Women & Gender Studies at Brandeis University. She obtained her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, New York. Her postgraduate training included an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Neurology, culminating as Chief Resident at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She then undertook fellowships in Neuroimmunology & Multiple Sclerosis and Digital Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
Dr Wilner takes great joy in taking care of patients with neuroimmunologic conditions including, but not limited to, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder, Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-Associated Disease, Autoimmune Encephalitis, and Central Nervous System Vasculitis. Her scope of practice includes the use of disease modifying therapies, the use of botulinum toxin for the treatment of migraines and spasticity, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and the use of non pharmacological tools to improve patient wellness.
Dr Wilner is also invested in the teaching and education of medical trainees. She has been an invited speaker for University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School students and neurology residents, and has had multiple mentees choose to spend their elective time with her in clinic. She plans to continue her work in medical education while at Yale.
Dr Wilner plans to continue her involvement in clinical trials during her time at Yale.
