Megha Nair

Megha is a Microbiology PhD candidate and NRSA (F31) Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Amy Bei at the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases, Yale School of Public Health. Megha's research focuses on evaluating neutralizing immune responses to a novel blood-stage malaria vaccine candidate, PfRIPR. Her work aims to determine the efficacy of PfRIPR vaccine-induced antibodies across genetically diverse strains and species of Plasmodium, using a combination of in vitro and field-based ex vivo approaches at malaria-endemic sites in Africa.
