Biography

Dr. Schapira graduated from the University of Connecticut with degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Psychology. She then went on to its School of Medicine and graduated with her medical doctorate degree. She completed her residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

Dr. Schapira happily returned home to Connecticut and joined the team at Generations OB/GYN in 2026. Her interests include high-risk obstetric care, minimally invasive surgery, and resident education. She aspires to build lifelong relationships with her patients and to support them through major milestones in their lives.
