Dr. Katelyn Norman received her bachelor's degree in fine art from New York University where she studied studio art, specifically concentrating in painting. Afterward, she attended medical school as a member of the inaugural class of the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, where she graduated with High Distinction in the Medical Humanities.
She completed residency training at the Yale-Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program where she subsequently served as chief resident, and now core faculty where she directs the new Medical Humanities curriculum. Her professional interests include clinical ethics, and she co-chairs the Waterbury Hospital Ethics Committee, as well as Medical Illustration and Fine Art.
