Biography
Jonathan is an MD-PhD student from Lexington, Massachusetts. He graduated from Cornell University in 2024 with a B.S. in Human Biology, Health, and Society. As an undergraduate, he conducted research in Dr. Tudorita Tumbar’s lab, where he uncovered the identity of a novel cell population in the skin and characterized its function for safeguarding nerve integrity. After graduating, Jonathan joined Dr. Arlene Sharpe’s lab at Harvard Medical School to study the autoimmune-like toxicities associated with immune checkpoint inhibitors. At Yale, Jonathan hopes to pursue his interests in tissue biology and immunology to explore how immune cells contribute to development, tissue repair, and homeostasis, and how dysregulation of such processes contributes to disease.
