Research
Overview
Currently, Jannat investigates structural psychology through critical theoretical frameworks to examine how cognitive biases influence treatment adherence and health outcomes in vulnerable patient populations. Her research employs phenomenology, Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), and clinical science to study chronic stress pathology's biological, sociocultural, and heritable mechanisms. By engaging with specific demographic groups often excluded from mainstream research, Jannat works to develop clinical interventions that address persistent health challenges and improve therapeutic outcomes.
