Andrea Ferraro, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant (PA). A 2019 graduate of Bryant University’s Physician Assistant Program, Andrea joined the staff of Yale New Haven Hospital as a surgical float PA.
Ferraro provides care to surgical patients on both the St. Raphael and York Street Campuses. Her clinical interests include trauma/emergency general surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery, minimally invasive/bariatric surgery, and thoracic. She is also robotics certified.
Andrea notes that “a physician assistant’s job is not only to treat the initial complaint that a patient has reported, but also to treat the patient holistically.” She applies this philosophy to each of her patients and takes the time to get to know them in order to provide the best possible care.
Andrea maintains memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Andrea enjoys baking macarons and spending time outside skiing.
