Biography
Andrea Bartels, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Neurology. Andrea earned a Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT in 2006. She completed a Nurse Clinician Fellowship at Yale Neurology, which helped train Nurse Clinicians in specialized MS nursing care. She is a Certified MS Nurse through the International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses (IOMSN). She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN) and the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). In addition, Andrea has worked on clinical trials in neurology as a Sub-Investigator and has earned certifications in clinical trial rating scales. She has also been a participant within various patient workshops sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has been active with patient outreach and education on various topics relating to Multiple Sclerosis.
