Alfonsina Fraschilla, MBA, CPC

Alfonsina “Allie” Fraschilla, MBA, CPC, serves as Division Director in the Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery, providing strategic and operational leadership across multiple surgical divisions. In partnership with division chiefs, faculty, and departmental leadership, she oversees clinical operations, financial performance, faculty recruitment, program development, compensation, and strategic growth initiatives.

Her leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, accountability, and a strong focus on building sustainable programs that improve access, strengthen operations, and support faculty and staff. She has led complex initiatives spanning clinical expansion, workforce planning, physician compensation, operational redesign, and the development of new surgical programs across Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health.

In 2025, Allie received Yale’s Linda K. Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service in recognition of her contributions to the university. She also completed Yale’s EMERGE Leadership Program in 2026, an eight-month leadership development experience focused on advancing institutional impact, collaboration, and innovation.

Allie is passionate about bringing people together around shared goals and creating the structure needed to turn ideas into meaningful, lasting change. She believes strong partnerships across teams and divisions are essential to advancing the mission of the Department of Surgery.
