Biography

Alefteria Manchisi is a board certified APRN (ANCC). She received her BSN and Master's of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She has worked in pediatrics as an RN since 2002, then in specialized in pediatric surgery as an APRN since 2012. As a member of APSNA (American Pediatric Surgery Nurses Association). She specialized in a wide population of patients for infants to adolescents with surgical anomalies and congenital diseases. She assists with pre operative evaluations, post operative teaching and bowel management for conditions like Hirschsprung's. She additionally developed a support group for patients with Hirschsprung's disease and anorectal malformations.
