Biography

Adam Romanek earned his Master of Health Science – Physician Assistant degree at Mercy College, after receiving his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Rhode Island. Adam specializes in Sports Medicine and Knee and Hip Reconstructive orthopedic surgery, and also has years of experience working in orthopedic urgent care.

As an athlete, Adam has always had an interest in orthopedics and sports medicine, and believes there is no greater reward than helping someone return as near to their normal level of activity as possible.

Adam's overall approach to patient care is very pragmatic, with a goal of getting his patients back to function safely. He focuses on educating them regarding their specific injury and disease process. He believes the more they understand the process and the physiology, the more they become invested and their recovery becomes smoother.
