Vanessa Daou, DNP (doctor of nursing practice), WHNP (women’s health nurse practitioner), CNM (certified nurse-midwife), considers it an honor to be a part of a woman’s experience, whether it’s routine gynecologic care or delivering a child.

“Every birth is different and the trick is to figure out what each woman needs from me,” Daou says. “That will vary based on if she’s having her first child, already has several kids, or has complications with her pregnancy.”

Daou, a mother of five who once owned a bakery, says that she enjoys caring for women across their lifespan. “I love to watch how a woman’s life changes and her family grows,” she says.
