Dr. Doolittle will present research at the intersection of medicine and theology, including how a patient’s religious beliefs interact with their desired medical care and impact their healthcare outcomes. A physician, pastor, and educator, he recently published the book Theology and Medicine in Conversation: How the Healing Happens. Followed by a panel of Yale New Haven Hospital chaplains representing a range of religious traditions.
