Ami Dalal Acharya, MD, is an obstetrician-gynecologist who cares for women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. She addresses concerns ranging from routine prenatal care to more complex issues involving high-risk pregnancies, and she helps patients understand and manage conditions affecting reproductive health.

As an associate professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Acharya pursues research aimed at improving outcomes for mothers and babies. Her work focuses on understanding factors that contribute to complications in pregnancy and developing approaches to support safe and healthy deliveries.

Dr. Acharya completed her medical training at the University of Bombay in India. She then pursued an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Medical Education and Research Center/Michigan State University and gained clinical research experience in maternal fetal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
