About

Biography

Dr. Gaudio brings an important new clinical program in occular immunology and infectious disease to our department. After obtaining his MD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed his Ophthalmology residency at Yale and a Cornea and Uveitis fellowship at the Proctor Foundation, University of California at San Francisco. He then spent a year as a consultant and instructor in Thailand, before returning to Connecticut. Dr. Gaudio sees patients at Yale Eye Center on Friday mornings, with a focus on corneal inflammatory and infectious disease, uveitis (with emphasis on immunomodulatory therapy) and intraocular infection (including AIDS-related disorders, acute retinal necrosis and endophthalmitis).
