Mara Balk, PhD

Mara has MA and PhD degrees in arts administration, education, and policy from The Ohio State University, and a BA in Dance and Psychology from Wesleyan University. Her professional expertise focuses on program development, implementation, and evaluation as well as grants and fundraising in nonprofit and academic settings. These skills have taken her to positions at the Columbus Children's Choir, the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven, and now the Yale Alumni Association.

Dr. Balk previously served on the Board of the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, and is a current member of the Advisory Board of the Nonprofit Institute certificate program at the University of New Haven.
