Biography
Dr. Hassan Minhas is a distinguished psychiatrist with comprehensive training in adult, child, and forensic psychiatry.
He currently holds the position of Chief of Autism Services at the Hospital for Special Care, where he leads innovative treatments and programs for individuals on the autism spectrum. Additionally, Dr. Minhas serves as the Medical Director at Turnbridge, focusing on evidence-based care for adolescents and young adults.
Dr. Minhas also maintains a private practice in Stamford, CT, where he provides personalized psychiatric care.
His expertise extends to managing serious mental illnesses, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, with a particular emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As an active clinician, Dr. Minhas is deeply involved in both patient care and education, often sharing his insights as a regular expert witness in legal matters, bringing his clinical acumen to bear on complex cases.
