About

Biography

Hamid earned his B.S in Biology from the UC Irvine in 2018, where he studied how mechanical forces influence neural development. He is interested in using multimodal approaches to personalize medicine across various specialties. Hamid completed his PhD in 2025 under Drs. Carolyn Fredericks and Todd Constable, assessing whether connectome-based models can predict pathological levels and identify disease subtypes in preclinical Alzheimer's disease. Using these connectome features, he identified an aggressive subtype of preclinical AD that showed a positive response to an anti-amyloid therapy found ineffective in clinical trials.
