Gabriela Tapia

Academic background in psychology with a greater passion for providing services to underrepresented populations. Experience working in short term residential treatment for children and adolescence experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Began career at Yale providing case management services for parents in substance use recovery through the Family Based Recovery Program at Yale's Child Study Center. Current work is focused on patient navigation services with Yale Smilow Cancer Center's new Early Onset Cancer Program targeted for those diagnosed with cancer ages 18-45 years of age.
